If I could write a story
It would be the greatest ever told
Of a kind and loving father
Who had a heart of gold
I could write a million pages
But still be unable to say, just how

But I say it again today
I have made it a lifelong mission
To fill those big boots you left me
The intention is to be a better man than you were
But if i can be half the man you were
